Your Source for Middle-Eastern Musical Arts in Atlanta

Asha is a Gypsy-style belly dancer with amazing energy. Her fiery performances have made her a highly-demanded dancer in Middle-Eastern venues around Atlanta. Asha specializes in Indian Gypsy, Turkish Rom and Ancient Healing Dance for Women. Currently, she is the featured dancer in the Turkish ensemble “Emrah Kotan and The Sultans” and also teams with drummer Eric Peterson.

Asha uses authentic costumes along with the traditional and religious customs in her performances. She has had the privilege to perform not only for Madonna, Moroccan Ambassador Aziz Mekouar, and Michael Stipe of R.E.M, but also with Rumi translator Coleman Barks, spiritual author Dannion Brinkley (Saved by the Light), and most recently with Omar Faruk Tekbilek.
